This was fun. Fermata was an improvisational faux jazz group that was commissioned to do a Halloween performance in Dekalb, IL. They wanted a music video to open the live performance. They supplied us with a few reels of public domain footage (one member was at Northern Illinois University at the time) along with an improvised performance piece they had from a television appearance. They instructed our editor to "Go Nuts- maybe throw in a little Zappa" and left him to it. This is what opened the show....
